History

Welcome to the Department of Mathematics at Kahuta-Haveli Campus, University of Poonch, Rawalakot. The department commenced its operations in 2021 and is dedicated to training students to meet the demands and opportunities for careers in teaching and other government and public sector organizations. We promote advanced learning methodologies and consistently strive to develop creative thinking skills in students, preparing them to make effective decisions by applying mathematical methods.

The BS in Mathematics program offered by the department is a four-year program comprising eight semesters. The courses taught are of international standard, designed to have practical applications in daily life as well as in various fields of Science and Engineering.

The Department of Mathematics focuses on education in key areas of mathematics: Algebra, Analysis, Topology, Geometry, and Applied Mathematics.
