PhD
Research Area:About Me
With a PhD Botany degree; specialized in Medical ethnobotany, I work on medicinal plants with a particular focus on plants with Quorum sensing inhibitory activities. we do specialize in bioassays and fractionation of plant extracts to dig up chemical basis of bio-activities. Use of HPLC, LCMS and NMR is our way forward for identification and isolation of bio-active compounds. Wild edible plants (WEPs), Ethnoecology, Medicinal plants and use of GIS in mapping of floristic diversity are other areas of interest
