About Me

Maria Bashir has done her MS in Psychology (2019) with specialization in Clinical Psychology. She is a psychologist with more than 7 years of experience of teaching/training, research and counseling. She has received many academic awards being a meritorious scholar. Her research interests include but are not limited to clinical psychology, social psychology, emotional regulation, forgiveness therapy and religiosity. As an educator, it is important to her that she conduct excellent applied research in the area of psychology, in a supportive environment. For clinical perspectives, she has the ability to analyze and assess a client's needs, potentialities or behavior using a variety of methods, including psychometric tests, interviews and direct observation of behavior. She also has the capability to initiate and supervise research projects and consultancies. She has acted as technical supervisor/team leader on research projects and consultancies at academic levels. She has proficiency to apply the knowledge in diverse settings; clinical, educational and organizational.
