About Me

Dr. Naheed Akhtar has received her doctorate degree (PhD) major in Pharmaceutics from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur in 2022. M.Phil. in 2013 and PHARM-D degree in 2010 from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. She is currently serving as Permanent Lecturer (BPS-18) in department of pharmacy, University of Poonch Rawalakot, Azad Jammu and Kashmir since 2012- to date. She is the pioneer faculty member of Pharmacy department of University of Poonch Rawalakot. A young energetic female having a clear logical mind with a practical approach to problem solving and a drive to see things through different perspectives and eager to learn new skills in the field of pharmacy especially in the field of Pharmaceutics, drug research and development. She possesses knowledge mediation through strong organizational skills and outstanding skills in customer service. She is expert of various Computer related Literature, MS Office, Web Browsing, Medscape, Graph Pad Prism, origin and Candela. She has published more than 30 research articles in well reputed national and international high impact factor journals of Pharmaceutical sciences and MDPI etc. Her main research interests include field of Pharmaceutics (Natural and synthetic products), their Characterization, Standardization, Isolation of compounds, Bioequivalence studies, Phyto-chemical analysis, Pharmacological activities, and structure elucidation of different Phyto-chemicals, and nanotechnology formulation development.
