Kisspeptin‐10 in cryodiluent improves the post‐thaw quality of Nili‐Ravi buffalo Bubalus bubalis bull spermatozoa. Andrologia, Effects of kisspeptin-10 as antioxidant in cryodiluent were evaluated on post-thaw quality of buffalo spermatozoa. Qualified semen samples from five bulls were pooled, divided into five aliquots and extended in Tris-citric acid cryodiluent containing differential doses of kisspeptin-10 (5, 10, 15, and 20 μmol L1 and negative control. Extended sperm suspension was cooled to 4C, packaged in 0.54 ml straws and cryopreserved. At post-thawing, catalase (unit mg1), peroxidase (unit mg1) and reduce

The objective of the present study was to evaluate the toxic effects of arsenic trioxide on the body weight, serum biochemical constituents, hematological parameters, and hormonal profile of male rabbits. To ameliorate the toxicity of this metal, olive oil was used. For this purpose, sixteen adult male rabbits were randomly divided into four groups for this experiment. Group A was kept as control, group B

Pakistan journal of Zoology. This study evaluated the effect of breed, body condition score and ascorbic acid supplementation on the semen quality of breeding bulls. A total of 8 adult (≥2 year) bulls (2 each from Jersey, Friesian, Sahiwal and cross bred) were selected with body condition score (BSC) at a scale of (0-5). The results showed that mean semen volume was signifcantly (P<0.05) high in Friesian bull. Sperm concentration and motility were signifcantly (P<0.05) high in Jersey bull while live sperm percentage was sig

It is now recognised that Zn has a major role in antioxidation, growth and development, production, immunity and stress related issues. Supplementation of Zn can improve growth, augment immunity, enhance antioxidant capacity, increase endocrine secretion and interact with other minerals in the gut. Muhammad Zubair*, Mubashir Ali Khaliq Review on Effects of Dietary Poly Unsaturated fatty acids on semen quality of Birds and Mammals The use of poly unsaturated fatty acids has pronounced significant effects on the efficiency of male reproductive system. Poly unsaturated fatty acids like docosahexaenoic acid, omega 3, Omega 6, oleic and linolinic acid are rich in diets like flaxseed oil, soybean oil, fish oil, sunflower oil. These diets have the capability to increase serum testosterone level, fertility rate, ejaculation period, sperm motility, semen volume, sperms concentration and sexual behavior. Similarly, these fatty aci 2016
