About Me

Dr. Yousaf Iqbal is currently working as an Associate Professor (Tenured) in Physics at the University of Poonch Rawalakot, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. He completed his Ph.D. in Solid State Physics (Nano-Physics) from Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea in 2015. He also holds an M.S. in Environmental Physics from the University of Bremen, Bremen, Germany and an M-Phil in Solid State Physics from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan. He completed his M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan in 2001. Dr. Yousaf Iqbal has been associated with several universities in Pakistan. He worked as an Assistant Professor (TTS) at the University of Poonch, Rawalakot, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan from November 2017 to October 2022. Prior to that, he worked as an Assistant Professor (BPS-19) and Assistant Professor (IPFP) at the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan from February 2016 to October 2017. Dr. Yousaf Iqbal's research interests include nanomaterials synthesis and their applications, including energy storage, catalysis, Magnetic Hyperthermia and contrast agents in MRI. He has published several research articles in international peer-reviewed journals and has presented his research work at various national and international conferences.
