About Me

Dr Muhammad Haris is a respected Animal Nutritionist and Researcher in the field of Livestock and Animal Nutrition at the University of Poonch Rawalakot. He has experience teaching & researching in this field, and his contribution has been recognized through best teacher award. He has a strong academic background, with M.phill in Animal Nutrition & Nutritional Diseases from the University of agriculture Peshawar. During his Mphill research he won a research Fellow position in a project funded under Agriculture Innovation Program(AIP) for Pakistan by USAID. Dr Haris is actively engaged in youth & women empowerment initiatives in Pakistan,working to promote leadership,education, and social development. In Recognition of his contributions & leadership, he was honored with the Best Young Leader Award by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Presented by the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Dr Haris research expertise spans both ruminant nutrition & Poultry nutrition/feed technology. With international training in livestock disease surveillance from Northwest A&F University, China, His works focuses on optimizing feed efficiency, enhancing carcass quality, and improving sustainable animal production. As a teacher, Haris is known for his dedication to student learninng & his ability to make complex concepts easy to understand. He has received high praise from his students & colleagues for his engaging teaching style and his commitment to mentoring students & young researchers.
