Mission and Responsibilities
- The mission of the ORIC is to promote higher education and scientific training, establish a strong research culture, commercialization and innovation within a dynamic, efficient and effective team of scientists and researchers.
- The office will try to motivate the Faculty to play an active role to plan, strategize and to materialize the vision and mission of the University of Poonch Rawalakot, AJK.
- Besides, the office will be responsible to identify research grant opportunities for the Faculty, to train the Faculty with regards to the preparation of research proposals, intimate them for national and international research grants/ conferences/ seminars/ workshop, encourage them to apply and facilitate them.
- The office will provide legal, administrative and financial management support of research grants.
- The ORIC will support commercialization, licencing, etc. of the university research products.
- The ORIC will try to establish a good working relationship with other higher learning institutions, industries and donor agencies at national and international levels in the activities that can enhance entrepreneurship, academic and research excellence.
